Clay’s Case

Vietnam-era Veteran Clay applied for benefits for PTSD and total unemployability in 2016.  The VA granted PTSD at 30% and denied total unemployability.  The veteran appealed, submitting an additional PTSD evaluation, and argued that the evidence supported his claim for total unemployability. In 2025, the Board agreed, and he was awarded 100%, with back benefits to 2016.
